Obama's Wasteful Spending

The US government just committed 900 Million dollars for reconstruction of Gaza.  Not only is the money flushed down the toilet that indirectly supports the wretched Hamas government, it is an affront to every American.  The recently past stimulus bill gives a mere 400 dollar tax credit to each tax-paying American.  The Gaza aid boils down to $600 for every man, woman and child in Gaza.

This should be among the most criticized expenditures of the Obama administration so far.  Where is the outrage?

Main points of this blog.

It's with considerable reservation that I begin this blog. With so much digital ink being spilled over the subject of Israel and the Middle-East, what can I hope to add to the crowded marketplace of ideas?  Well, in a nutshell, I hope to have a unique introspective pro-Israel voice; one that does not shy away from the faults of the Jewish state, but concedes nothing to the enemies of Zion, who would do far better by looking inward instead of blaming Israel.  The main points I hope to make are:
  1. Israel is and must be a "light unto nations."
  2.  Palestinian State has no business coming into existence as an equal partner with the Jewish State, when there is such a pathetic lack of responsible leadership on the Arab side.
  3. The record of the Jewish state on human rights, while not perfect, is superior to all Islamic states and on par with all modern nation states.
  4. The Palestinians and Israeli Arabs are not victims of "Israeli aggression."  Rather, they are beneficiaries of Israel's modernizing influence on the region.
  5. The so-called "Occupied Territories," contain much in the way of Jewish holy sites and any future agreements with the Arabs must allow for Jewish visitors, residents and institutions to exist in these places, particularly Shechem (Nablus), and Hebron.
  6. Israel has earned the right to control Jerusalem and the Arabs can not be trusted to administer the Jewish Holy sites in the city.
  7. There is no "cycle of violence." The Arabs lost a war in 1948 and they have never once stopped fighting this war.  It is time for the Arabs to concede defeat and move on.
  8. The Arabs are weak culturally and politically and should not be given more land from the state of Israel.  The "International community" must stop demanding Israel compromise its security and territorial integrity by ceding control to untrustworthy Arab leaders.
  9. The Settlement movement is becoming lawless and reckless and must be brought under control. The most extreme settlers represent Israel very poorly and they must not be allowed to stain Israel's reputation by their violent and irrational actions.
  10. Israel must continue to look for innovative ways to build bridges between religious and secular Jews as well as its Arab citizens.
